To allow the light and colors of the sun to be expressed through art and to create lively, joyful room atmospheres through this art is my vision

Photographs with Very High Radiance

Britta Elisa Krämer born in Heidelberg found her way into the arts through an international and diverse life. Her artistic career began with jewelry design and continued seamlessly into art. The years in which she lived and worked internationally as a jewelry designer, creating her own collections, were influenced by diverse cultures. This has been a great inspiration for her art projects.

Artistic creation and the ability to develop this potential from within is the auto-didactic journey of artist Britta Elisa Krämer. Particularly in the field of art freedom is the force out of which the birth of art becomes possible. She lived in Athens, Sydney, Istanbul, Vienna, Frankfurt and Berlin.

The art of Britta Elisa Krämer

She has developed over many years a foundation to make her deep wish possible to combine art and jewelry. Through COLORS OF SUN it become real.

Vienna and Berlin became the most important locations for this wish. In Vienna she studied the profound effect of colors in art and took courses at the art academy. At the same time she became interested in Goethe’s theory of colors. Later on she found the inspiration for the name COLORS OF SUN and the design of the products in the creative city of Berlin. She traveled to many different places during this time for the photo art project.

The holistic sense and effect of light and colors fascinated and inspired the artist Britta Elisa Krämer into a deep creative process. On Kauai she intuitively photographed into direct sunlight creating the first sun art photography. Subsequently Britta Elisa Krämer traveled to Brazil, La Palma, Israel, England, America and Germany for her photo art project. During these journeys she photographed sunrises, midday suns and sunsets.

She was concerned with highlighting the expression of the light and the colors through the sun and how to use this attractive radiance in the design of spaces.

In 2012 artist Britta Elisa Krämer established the registered word and picture trademark – COLORS OF SUN – in Berlin. The complete collection, the colorful, lively images of COLORS OF SUN can be experienced in the shop as acrylic pictures, images behind glass, as wall images on canvas and LED light boxes.
